Below is some more information about the competition.

Number of teams and dogs

The championship is held in accordance with FCI’s regulations.
Maximum of 120 dog-handler teams can enter the qualification rounds.

All reserves must be confirmed no later than May 25, 2026.

Qualifications will run over three days, with 40 competitors per day.

The top 20 competitors will advance to the final.

Each country may enter a team of six competitors and appoint up to three reserves.

Reserves may compete only if space allows.

Registration deadlines

April 1, 2026: Registration of team participation

May 11, 2026: Submission of complete list of participants.

May 15, 2026: Payment deadline.
